This might occur when a Microsoft Excel process hangs. To fix this, start Excel and open a file (or create a new one). Click Tools > Options, then in the General tab, clear Ignore other applications. Close and exit Excel.
If this does not work, try rebooting the computer.
This occurs when you want to process waveform data included in a Power Quality report. To address this situation you need to modify the security settings in Excel.
Open Excel and click the Office Button (upper left corner) to open the menu.
Click Excel Options at the bottom of the menu to open the Excel Options dialog.
Click the Trust Center tab and click Macro Settings in the Trust Center dialog.
Select Trust access to the VBA project object model under Developer Macro Settings.
Click OK to save your selection and to close the Trust Center dialog.
Click OK again to close the Excel Options dialog.
